Phuket’s undisputedly most-visited viewpoint is also known as “Kata Viewpoint” among a local minority, for it is much closer to Kata than the eponymous town of Karon. Views extend to Kata Noi, Kata Yai and all the way up to the stunning shores of Karon, which is why it is also referred to as the “Three Bay Viewpoint”. The wide popularity of Karon Viewpoint means crowds are a certainty as definite as the breathtaking scenery, but the views sure do make up for the sparse tranquillity.
