Start from the city

You may start exploring this wonderful destination from the historical Post Office. It's one of the most famous Nuwara Eliya attractions that date back to the 1800s. It's a small post office, but you will love its overall look and the vibe it has.

Then you may also explore Victoria Park (which is also located in the city itself) which is full of nice plants and trees. This garden spans a land area of 27 acres, and you may capture some good photos when you are here.

4

Explore a waterfall

This is the best way to end your day 01. After visiting Victoria Park, you may head to explore the beauty of St Clair's Falls in Nuwara Eliya. From the city limit, you will have to travel for about 50 minutes to reach this waterfall, but this travel is surely worth it. St Clair's is one of the widest waterfalls in the country, and even the slightest sight of this waterfall can calm your senses.

Day 02 - Horton Plains

Keep your second day in Nuwara Eliya to explore the beauty of Horton Plains, and you will never regret this. Horton Plains is located a little far away from the main city, and it's always suggested to start your tour to Horton Plains early in the morning. The main attraction here is 'World's End', and the scenery you get to enjoy when you are here is beyond all expressions.

Say Good Bye to Nuwara Eliya

After the Horton Plains visit, you usually get tired. But, if time and your energy permit, please visit a tea estate too before you leave Nuwara Eliya. Do not forget to enjoy a cup of precious Ceylon Tea when you are there.
