This Iconic monument is a mark of respect for three patriotic tribal leaders who demonstrated their love for the nation way back in 1885. Each statue is at a height of 18 feet with their names engraved on a panel, Bathoen I, Sebele I and Khama III. These brave chiefs travelled to Britain seeking an audience with the Queen to plead to save their country from exploitation. Thanks to their patriotic move Botswana remained under the protection of Britain until they gained independence in 1965. Gaborone Game Reserve

Covering an expanse of 600 hectares this reserve in the Capital City is one of the busiest reserves in Botswana. Initiated in 1988 to create awareness and offer an opportunity for the public of Gaborone to appreciate their wildlife in natural habitats which are accessible to the public, it has now evolved into a busy reserve popular with visitors whilst the conservation and awareness activities are progressing. All visitors are welcome, and they can explore for an entire day paying the nominal entry fee. Zebras, monitors, wildebeest, gemsboks, kudu, ostriches, warthogs and elands abound while kingfishers and hornbills are spotted often. A great way to spend an entire day. There are plenty of places in the vicinity for food such as restaurants and hotels, shopping and spots for picnics.
