The lovely island nation of Sri Lanka offers many attractive places to visit and undoubtedly one of these would be the highland town of Nuwara Eliya. One of the noteworthy leisure attractions in this area would be the appealing Gregory Lake where many foreign visitors as well as locals arrive to relax and unwind amidst the agreeable surroundings. Interestingly, this lake is named in honour of William Gregory, a governor during the period of British colonialism.
