Before Chiropractic College, Dr. Speed earned a degree in movement and exercise science. After meeting with Dr. Troyer here at Upper Cervical Health Centers, Dr. Speed decided to go to Sherman College of Chiropractic in South Carolina. “After getting my first upper cervical adjustment I knew that I would become an upper cervical chiropractor.”

Fast forward 10 years to 2008. Dr. Barbara Read had finally realized this dream of being a fully certified NUCCA Doctor of Chiropractic. I was proud of the flourishing practice I had started in Ames after training for five years in Chicago.
