Whilst Pasikudah Beach would undoubtedly be attractive enough, another nearby highlight would be the equally alluring Kalkudah Beach which is not as developed. You may notice just one or two resorts in the entirety of the extent of this expansive beach; if you're visiting with children, keep in mind that there could be sizable waves here.
In the environs of Kalkudah Beach, you would find an authentic fishing village that would capture the imagination of sightseers and culture lovers alike. You would notice several fishing boats used by the local fisher folk here; you could also observe a collection of quaint homes fashioned from materials like palm leaves. If you arrive in the early hours of the morning, it would be possible to experience the sight of the fishermen returning from the ocean with their catch.
Although this would be a rather modestly sized temple, it would capture the interest of those who appreciate religious attractions. You would notice several fascinating sights at this sacred site. Interestingly, there would be an old tree having a massive trunk here that according to legend, is believed to be the abode of a black snake which safeguards the temple.
