Old soup to try!

The massive pot of traditional beef stew in Bangkok has been boiling since Nattapong Kaweenuntawong was a youngster, more than 45 years ago. Kaweenuntawong learned the exact taste profile of the stew from his father as a child and now balances the flavour himself on a daily basis. He adopts an old technique in which he begins the basis of the following day's soup using part of the previous day's leftover stock. This is definitely an exciting thing to try!

Escape the city rush

Two hectares of woodland area, immediately west of Suvarnabhumi airport, was once a dumping place. Today, Metro Forest has been turned into a natural habitat and wetland with elevated pathways and instructive exhibits on green living. If you would like a peaceful stroll to escape the rush of the city, this is an ideal stop.

The Ghost tower

If you think abandoned buildings are cool, then stop by the renowned Sathorn Unique Tower. The tower's construction began in 1990 but was abruptly halted due to the financial crisis, and the skyscraper has been vacant and deteriorating for almost 30 years. You are not permitted to enter the site since it is surrounded by a fence; however, it makes for a great photo opportunity! There are plenty of interesting stories regarding this tower, which may intrigue you even more!

Surround yourself with huskies at Husky Cafe

You can get up close and personal with these fluffy pals because there are around 30 Siberian huskies in this one-of-a-kind cafe! There are also other breeds such as Australian shepherds and ancient English sheepdogs. The dogs are properly cared for, and the café is clean and inviting. You can't book a slot here and everything is done on a first-come, first-served basis. You can enjoy a meal or two while you're here!
