Top 5 Places to Visit in Quang Nam - How to keep yourself occupied in Quang Nam

The highlight of Quang Nam is the historic town of Hoi An, but there are also many exciting and pleasant things to do in this province. Let's take a quick look at them so you can plan your next trip.

1

Hoi An

You will not be disappointed when visiting Hoi An. You can stay in one of the best resorts in Vietnam, the likes of Anantara Hoi An Resort, and take your time to explore the beautiful city of Hoi An. You can rent a motorbike within the city or near the airport and ride to the old town, which is just 30 kilometres from Da Nang International Airport. Taxis and buses are alternative options for getting to the location if you don't want to rent a bike. Once there, a slow walk around Hoi An is great for taking in the calm ambience and understanding the local life as much as possible. You can walk past the old houses, sip a warm cup of herbal tea or Vietnamese coffee, other vendor delicacies and much more!

Cui Na Beach

Around 4 kilometres northeast of central Hoi An, Cua Dai Beach offers a refreshing respite from the city's heat and crowds. Its vast expanse of pristine sand invites beach lovers to unwind and bask in tranquillity. Though dotted with tourist resorts, the beach maintains a serene ambience, particularly on weekdays. For added comfort, you can rent deck chairs and loungers, but the natural shade provided by palm trees offers ample shelter from the midday sun, making it an idyllic spot to indulge in relaxation.

3

Chua Cau

A great example of 17th-century architecture, this bridge will take you back in time. The Japanese Bridge, built in the early 1600s by the city's Japanese minority, is one of the city's most notable landmarks in a city famed for its historic architecture. Its objective was to connect the Japanese with the Chinese merchants who lived on the canal's east side. As a result, it serves as a symbol of peace and brotherhood as well as a functional construction. Today, the bridge is a popular tourist destination and an excellent location for photographs, so don't forget your camera!

Riverside Hoi An

Many of the timber-framed houses you see now were exactly the same as they did hundreds of years ago, as if time stood still. One of the most appealing locations of the UNESCO-protected Hoi An Ancient Town is Riverside Hoi An. Tourists flock here to enjoy Vietnam's time-honoured traditions, and residents shop in age-old stores and markets. Riverside Hoi An, located on the banks of the Thu Bon River, was a busy trading port from the 15th through the 19th century. When you're here, take the time to admire the legacy of wooden buildings, shop in little shops, dine at lantern-lit restaurants, and take a gorgeous boat trip.
