Avila,Spain

Ávila (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈaβila]; Latin: Abila and Obila) is a Spanish city located in the autonomous community of Castile and León, and is the capital of the Province of Ávila. It is sometimes called the City of Stones and Saints, and it claims that it is one of the cities with the highest number of Romanesque and Gothic churches (and bars and restaurants) per capita in Spain.


Barcelona Spain

Another favorite city of the author E.J. Kelly Have been there several times beginning in 1998. The city is one of the most cosmopolitan in Europe with some of the greatest architecture you will ever see.


Cadiz Spain

Cádiz [ˈkaðis]; see other names below) is a city and port in southwestern Spain. It is the capital of Cádiz province, one of eight which make up the autonomous community of Andalusia. Cádiz, the oldest continuously-inhabited city in Spain and one of the oldest in southwestern Europe,[1][2] has been a principal home port of the Spanish Navy since the accession of the Spanish Bourbons in the 18th century.


Cordoba Spain

Córdoba also called Cordova in English,[1] is a Spanish city in Andalusia, southern Spain, and the capital of the province of Córdoba. An Iberian and Roman city in ancient times, in the Middle Ages it became the capital of an Islamic caliphate in 711 AD, and was reconquered in 1236.


Dublin Ireland

The subsequent Scandinavian settlement centred on the River Poddle, a tributary of the Liffey in an area now known as Wood Quay. The Dubhlinn was a small lake used to moor ships; the Poddle connected the lake with the Liffey. This lake was covered during the early 18th century as the city grew.


Faro Portugal

Faro (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈfaɾu]) is the southernmost city in Continental Portugal. It is located in the Faro Municipality in southern Portugal.[2] The city proper has 50.000 inhabitants,[1] and the entire municipality has 64.560 (2011).[3] It is the seat of the Faro District and capital of the Algarve region.

Frankfurt is the largest financial center in continental Europe and ranks among the world's leading financial centers. It is home to the European Central Bank, Deutsche Bundesbank, Frankfurt Stock Exchange and several large commercial banks.

Lisbon Portugal

One of my favorite cities. Just an hour or so from Madrid, this city is the "pearl" off the west coast of Europe. The people, the food and the culture are exceptional. Lisbon (/ˈlɪzbən/, liz-bən; Portuguese: Lisboa, IPA: [liʒˈboɐ][1] or [liʒˈβoɐ]) is the largest city and capital of Portugal with a population of 547,631 within its administrative limits[2] on a land area of 84.8 km2 (33 sq mi).


Malaga Spain

Málaga (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈmalaɣa]) is a city and a municipality, capital of the Province of Málaga, in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, Spain. With a population of 568,507 in 2010, it is the second most populous city of Andalusia and the sixth largest in Spain.


Marrakech Morroco

Marrakesh, or Marrakech is a major city in the northwest African nation of Morocco. It is the fourth largest city in the country after Casablanca, Fes and Rabat, and is the capital of the mid-southwestern economic region of Marrakech-Tensift-El Haouz.


Paris France

One of the most photographic places in the world. Every corner and crevice offers something new and unseen. One of my favorite cities. Paris (English /ˈpærɪs/, Listeni/ˈpɛrɪs/; French: paʁi) is the capital and most populous city of France. It is situated on the River Seine, in the north of the country, at the heart of the Île-de-France region.

Paris is one place everyone should visit. People say it is expensive, but one simple idea is to exchange your apartment, house or bungalow. I have used this method several times and it has worked without a hitch. Oh and don't listen to people who say the French are snobs or unfriendly.

Ronda Spain

Ronda (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈronda]) is a city in the Spanish province of Málaga. It is located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) west of the city of Málaga, within the autonomous community of Andalusia. Its population is approximately 35,000 inhabitants.
