5 Beaches You Should Not Miss in Quy Nhon - A slice of sun, sand and sea in beautiful central Vietnam

May the sand between your toes give you a sense of flawless pristineness, the crashing waves serenade you to tranquillity, and the pleasing horizon makes you wonder about a paradisiacal world far away — let yourself lose in the soul-relaxing ambience of Quy Nhon's finest sun, sand and fantastic sea.

1

Ky Co - popularly Quy Nhon's finest

Just about 25 kilometres northeast of the city of Quy Nhon lies what is dubbed as "Quy Nhon's most spectacular beach", Ky Co Beach. Nestled in the refuge of the Phuong Mai Mountain and towering rocky cliffs, Ky Co certainly affords a sense of seclusion and serenity that many other beaches in the seaside city do not. It's not only the beach itself that you will find delightful, the hour-long drive from the city is also lined with some stunning scenery that treats your eyes. Meander south away from the clutch of seafood restaurants and palm frond shelters, where you will find a number of secluded coves and rock pools, perfect for some mind-relaxing unwinding.

2

Bai Xep - serenity in the bucolic fishing village

For the people of Quy Nhon, Bai Xep is associated more with its fishing village than its white sandy shores, while it may be the other way around for most tourists to the seaside village. Bai Xep is an authentic, age-old fishing village with its bucolic charm still intact, in which Bai Xep is the main stretch of beach that many tourists and locals alike flock to. While you may find yourself sharing the beach with a few more people than other beaches around, the crescent-shaped bay has enough and more spots to lounge in your own aura.

3

Eo Gio - more than just white sandy shores

If you are a mountain person in the seaside Quy Nhon, Eo Gio would undoubtedly be the beach for you. While the turquoise blue waters and pristine white sands attract the crowds to other beaches in the vicinity, the draw here at Eo Gio is its dramatic rocky cliffs and the quaint tracks that lead to the summit. Make your way to the top at sunset and experience the true feeling of breathtaking.

4

Queen's Beach - the tranquil sanctuary of Queen Nam Phuong

Just over 3 kilometres southeast of the city centre, Queen's Beach is one of the closest beaches to Quy Nhon city and makes for a quick escape to the alluring blue waters. It may be one of the smallest beaches in the beach-rich city but is brimming with soul-relaxing beauty. It is believed that King Bao Dai's queen, Queen Nam Phuong treated this slice of beach as her "tranquil sanctuary", hence the name, Queen's Beach.
