Don't forget that the Maldives is a Muslim country. There are restrictions on alcohol consumption in this country, and you should obey them all. If you stay at SAii Lagoon Maldives or any other similar hotel/resort, you can enjoy liquor, but that's also only within their premises. You can't enjoy liquor when you are on an inhabited local island because that's restricted by law.
The locals of the Maldives spend amazing lives. Their lifestyles are worth exploring and their stories are worth listening to. When you visit a local island, you also get the chance to enjoy the local food and even the traditional music and dance of the Maldives. But, keep in mind, traveling from one island to another when in the Maldives is an expensive task.

Keep in mind that a camera is a MUST for your Maldivian tour. Take a quality camera with you through which you can capture the moments, and scenic beauty perfectly. Memories matter a lot and do not hesitate to spend on a good camera when you are about to enjoy some of the best days in your life. If you wish to dive or snorkel, make sure you capture the underwater world as well.
