You will come across this spectacular creation near the periphery of another famous attraction in Jeddah, the Corniche, a 30-kilometre expanse of beach land with plenty of tourist attractions. The mosque's design incorporates classic Islamic art and architecture but uses contemporary lighting and sound system during worship. The mosque is located near the Red Sea, and the high tide creates an illusion of a floating mosque. The best time to visit is during sunrise and sunset when the sunlight pours through the stained glass windows, creating a magical illuminating effect. It is a sight not to be missed! If you're looking for a serviced apartment in Jeddah near the mosque, Ascott Sari Jeddah is a good option.

This palace was the first to utilise cement and iron in the Kingdom. Three-metre-high walls encircle the palace, while the central gate has lookout posts on each side. Inside, there is a museum displaying artefacts from pre-Islamic times to the Stone Age. The museum has a couple of floors separated into six galleries - Prehistoric Hall,King Abdulaziz Hall, King Saud bin Abdulaziz Hall, Jeddah Hall, Islamic Hall, and Folklore Hall.
