The Top 6 Quy Nhon Activities You Should Try During Your Trip - Vietnam that you can’t miss!

Welcome to a paradise coastal city in the heart of Vietnam! Quy Nhon is surrounded by tranquil islands, sandy beaches, and lush mountains. Unlike any other beach city in Vietnam, this hideaway is special for its breathtaking nature coupled with countryside beaches.

1

Bai Xep beach

You will certainly love the vibe of Quy Nhon as it is less touristy compared to other cities here. Staying overnight at Bai Xep is even more authentic and fun. This hidden gem can be found in a small fishing village which is located 12 KM away from the city centre. Back then when people started visiting the beach, it had only two hotels right on the beach but now accommodation options are expanded including resorts such as Anantara Quy Nhon Villas which is located 4 minutes away from the beach. You will find no better way to immerse in the authentic atmosphere of a fishing village. Take a boat trip to visit the nearby island where you can go on a snorkelling adventure.

2

Ky Co Beach

When you plan your itinerary in Quy Nhon, this beach should be a must-visit spot for its boasting crescent-shaped coastline, distinctive beauty, and crystal-clear water. It is 25km away from the main centre of Quy Nhon and the island is known for its exquisite beauty thanks to the stretches of white sand, rocky mountains and deep clear emerald water. You will find beautiful natural pools surrounding rock caves.

3

A sea sidewalk in Hon Kho

Located in south-central Binh Dinh Province, making a visit to Hon Kho is one of the best things to do in Quy Nhon. It is a coastal town where you can enjoy a myriad of beach activities including playing adventure beach games, diving excursions, watching corals, and snacking on seafood. The most eye-catching spot here will be the wooden walkway overlooking the ocean and skirting the cliff. It is about 200 metres long with concrete pedestals built on huge boulders. Be mindful that you will not find much greenery here. While adding a softening element to the islet, the walkway is known among tourists as a beautiful seaside catwalk.

4

Visit Eo Gio

Another attractive spot features massive caves, sandy beaches, rough cliffs, and gusty wind. The blue turquoise waters smashing against giant rocks create spectacular scenery to keep you immersed in the surroundings. All adventure seekers should visit this place to take a swim on the beach surrounded by stone pebbles and bumpy rocks. The beach is remarkable for its special curl like the shape of a saddle. You will spot multi-shaped caves (shapes of a frog, jaw, or dome) when you take a leisurely stroll along the mountain cliff.

5

Phuong Mai Peninsula

Phuong Mai is a secluded place located 20km away from Quy Nhon city. The huge sand dunes are an important highlight here and the shapes of these dunes keep changing owing to the wind blowing from nearby beaches. If you are looking for an exciting activity here, try out a sandboarding activity over the dunes. If not, simply sit on those sand dunes to feast your eyes on spectacular sunset views. What else can you ask for?

6

Thap Doi Tower

Also known as 'Twin Cham Towers', this tower is located in the ancient village called Hung Thanh. Visiting this tower will be an interesting activity to discover some of the remaining ancient architectural elements in Vietnam. The structure of the tower is impressive with sandstone sculptures on the walls of the temple which are similar to the Angkor templates in Cambodia. Every top and corner of the towers is carved with different images of birds, animals and gods.
