Visit the Na Mueang Waterfalls

Koh Samui is not all about beaches. It's home to some stunning waterfalls surrounded by lush greenery as well. Considered to be one of the best natural attractions of the island, Na Mueang Waterfalls are made up of two waterfalls. Waterfall 1 is easier to hike up to while the second offers incredible views of verdant tropical rainforest which can be enjoyed while lounging in the refreshing natural pools that are located on top of the waterfall. Other notable waterfalls that one can also take in include the Hin Lad Waterfalls, Khao Yai Waterfall and Tan Rua Waterfall.

Visit the Secret Buddha Garden for peace and inner reflection

Also known as the Magic Garden, the Secret Buddha Garden is an oasis of calm and is a great place to visit during the afternoon in order to get away from the blistering heat of mid-day. A wonderland of horticulture, this beautiful garden is home to local flora complemented by bird calls and the soothing sounds of minute waterfalls and streams flowing throughout the garden. To take in the gardens one can join a tour group which will also give one the chance to learn some interesting facts about this lush space. Splash about at the Samui Water Park
