Kitts Music Festival 

Taking place in St Kitts & Nevis, this festival is held on June 22-24, 2023. The festival centres on Caribbean music, and is the biggest of its kind in the Caribbean isle. This musical celebration is held annually and showcases many genres of music from soul to jazz, calypso, R&B, soca, merengue, zouk, dancehall, reggae, cadence, blues and gospel. You get to enjoy live music by local Kittitian performers as well as renowned artists at larger concert venues. Not only that, you can also look forward to enjoying the island's delectable food and laze away on its pristine beaches. Trinidad and Tobago Carnival

It is a week of spectacular shows held in Port of Spain, the capital of Trinidad and Tobago. Carnival has an intrinsic role in the island's culture due to the colonial influence of the French in the 18th century. the festival traces its history to African slaves who created their Carnival as a revolt against the excess of their invaders. The Carnival today is a celebration of freedom and culture. Celebrations and contests tend to begin typically following Christmas.

Reggae Sumfest 

Taking place in Jamaica during July 16-22, this festival has been around for at least 30 years. Montego Bay plays host to one of the biggest musical festivals in the Caribbean. It began as a 3-day festival, but over time has evolved into a weeklong extravaganza featuring local and global acts. Two major concert nights draw music fans from all ages, genres, and nations. The weeklong festivities include music workshops, conferences, beach parties, and so much more.

Crop Over Festival and Kadooment 

Taking place during August in Barbados, this festival is one of the most exciting of its kind in the Caribbean. Crop Over is held over three months to celebrate the music, food, agriculture, culture and arts of Barbados. Festivities begin in May; however, the authorised start precedes a Ceremonial Delivery of the Last Canes. It is a custom that is over 200 years old to celebrate the completion of a prosperous sugar cane yield. Those who are hoping to take part in the festivities should look out for events held in July and August. Favourites include Cohobblopot and Calypso where musical groups arranged into "tents" vie for awards and titles. The highlight is the finale, called Grand Kadooment Day.

Pirates fest

This interesting festival takes place in the Cayman Islands and is officially called Pirates Week. Held during the fall, it is a 2-month-long festival celebrating pirate legends and its cultural heritage. Events are held in all three Cayman Islands – Cayman Brac, Little Cayman and Grand Cayman. Pirates Fest is the nation's biggest celebration, and festivities begin with a thrilling Pirate Kick-Off Party.
