The Tang Dynasty Show

This classic show embodies an artistic conception of the customs of the renowned Tang Dynasty. Using the essence of music and various forms of dance which have endured for over 10 centuries, this show encompasses eight sections such as Hooray to the Emperor, Rainbow and Feather Garment Dance, White Linen Dance, Spring Ouling, The King of Qin breaking through the Battle Line Dance, Da Nuo, Orioles twittering in spring and Feet stomping song. Complementing these performances is the Palace Banquet the visitors can enjoy as this show is at the large pseudo-Tang theatre restaurant in China.

The Amazing Terra Cotta Army Museum

Visited by most tourists from Hotels in Xian China, this museum is considered one of the best archaeological sites in the world and a noteworthy discovery of the 20th century. The thousands of life-size terra cotta soldier models are finely detailed to represent the guard troops of the first emperor, Qin Shihuang, The museum contains three chambers with the terra cotta army models and an exhibition hall containing bronze chariots.

Great Mosque of Xi’an

Constructed during the Tang Dynasty, this well-preserved mosque is China’s most historic mosque. Depicting a mix of Arabic and Chinese architecture it stands facing Mecca. Featuring Arabic archways, memorial walls, four courtyards and gardens filled with pagodas. Each courtyard has distinct features which make them unique such as calligraphy, beautiful tiles etc. Visiting this mosque during spring is a  treat to witness the gorgeously blooming pink and white magnolias in the gardens apart from the grandeur of the mosque.

 Xi’an Bell Tower

This iconic structure is situated in Xi’an city centre. Originally built in the Ming dynasty style in the 14th century as a military command centre, it was relocated to the present-day location to be used as a timer in the 16th century as the city grew, yet using all of the original features except for the base. This 36-metre tower is crafted out of wood with green glazed tiles and contrasting touches of gold. It is the largest bell tower in China and the best-preserved one drawing many guests from Grand Park Xian to explore it. Though it is not used as a timer now, it serves Xi’an city by telling its story with the display of cultural relics and traditional Chinese Artwork as an interesting exhibition hall.

The Xi’an city wall

One of the first things visitors to Xi’an encounter, this ancient wall surrounds the city and is considered to be the best-preserved wall in China. Serving the city as a military defence system in the olden days, this magnificent creation is also known as the best military defence system in the world. The high and wide wall and the deep moat are hallmarks of the superiority of ancient Chinese workmanship. Visitors love to cycle or stroll on the wall for panoramic views of the city it offers.
