5 Best Parks of Dubai - Thrills in green spaces

Dubai is an interesting place to visit offering stunning attractions that will make all leisure travellers from every nook and cranny of the world stay in this wonderful city. If you are on a short stopover in the city, here are a few parks you should not miss.

Zabeel Park

Once the stifling heat of the summer months fades away, this park becomes the hotspot of both locals and tourists alike as an incredible weekend destination. It spans covering a land area of 51 hectares. You will come across plenty of options to keep your kids entertained when you are here. The dinosaur park showcases a small museum devoted to dinosaurs along with animatronic dinosaur models. As the sun goes down the twinkling lights in the glow garden create the feel of a fairy-tale garden. There is children's playground equipment throughout the park. If you are staying at one of the many hotels in Dubai Deira the likes of Avani Deira Dubai Hotel, it is a 15-minute drive to the park.

Safa Park

This famous greenspace is located two blocks inland from Jumeirah Beach. You could see how the Dubai Creek winds through the park's groomed gardens and lawns. This is one of the oldest parks in the city and its history dates back to 1975. The fact that it has been built outside the city limits has now become a reason for visitors to marvel at it. Safa Park is also known for its team sports facilities. Apart from basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, there is a track for runners. You can rent bikes on-site to cycle the park's trails. If you fancy a lazier day, you could simply enjoy the green space. Go on a picnic and enjoy a barbecue evening in its dedicated barbecuing area.

Creek Park

Known as the second largest park in the city, Creek Park runs along the western bank of Dubai Creek. The main reason why tourists are attracted to this place is its promenade; it could be simply to photograph the creek, enjoy the waterside views, or stroll and enjoy. The park is famous for weekend family trips. It is all about hanging out in good weather and picnicking in the lawn areas scattered with manicured flower bed displays. If you want to explore the park's winding trails by bike, there are hire cycles on-site.

Mushrif Park

An ideal spot to create memorable moments with your family. Covering a land area of 13 acres, this greenspace with amaze you with a range of activities aimed at both older ones and kids. In the northern section of the park, you will find Dubai's tree-top adventure activity course with multiple ziplines and rope swings. It also boasts a public swimming pool complex with one of the pools reserved for children. An exciting fact! There is a horse-riding school inside the park.

Burj Park

Based in the heart of Dubai surrounded by the Dubai Opera House, Burj Khalifa, and Dubai Mall, Burj Park is a not to be missed entertainment park. This is an ideal spot to catch the best views of the fountain displays on Burj Lake. The Park is also a popular destination for views and photos of the surrounding high-rises.
