All restaurants in Phuket have fried rice noodles for you, but the one with shrimp you find in street food stalls can surely be called the better option out of the two. It's the most famous street food dish in the town, and this is loved by tourists more. You find tofu, eggs, fish, dried shrimp, garlic, red chilli pepper, and many other ingredients in this single dish, and it's often served with lime wedges and peanuts.

Some noodle soup dishes may contain pieces of intestines, so if you don't like it, make sure you tell it when you order. Just say 'Mai Nai' (no intestines) and they'll do the needful.

Som Tum is a papaya salad often enjoyed with pork or grilled chicken. Those who love to eat spicy food can enjoy this dish with extra spiciness. If you don't like it to be too spicy, you will have to tell 'Mai Pet' (Not spicy) when ordering. The general ingredients that they add to this dish in addition to papaya are tomatoes, chillies, and green beans. This can be called one of the most common street food dishes in the town.

Khao Pad Kai

In Phuket, this is a classic dish. Served with three cucumber slices, Khao Pad Kai is often cooked with pork or chicken. If you want to add up a salty touch, make sure you ask for some fish sauce. Some chopped chillies will also help you to have a nice change of flavour.

Kai Yang

Kai Yang means grilled chicken. It's a dish that you can find almost everywhere, and this is more of a takeaway food item in Phuket. Kai Yang is cheap and is often eaten together with Khao Niaow (sticky rice).

Khao Ka Moo

If you are in love with European stew, you will definitely love this dish. Khao Ka Moo means Stewed Pork Leg with rice and it's one of the most common dishes in Phuket. This may not be everyone's favourite, but those who love Khao Ka Moo will go for second and third servings too.
