Visit the largest coral reef on Earth

Towards the far north of Queensland is The Great Barrier Reef. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is the largest coral cover on the Planet! Organise a full-day excursion to the outer edges of the reef, where you can expect to find an abundance of marine life. You can encounter staghorn, starfish, turtles, and many other marine species. An organised snorkelling tour guided by marine biologists is a great idea. It will help you understand the importance of this biodiversity and help to protect it. If you’re not a good swimmer, you can do a semi-submersible tour or try ocean walking!

Rainforest Exploration

Located near Port Douglas is the Daintree Rainforest. A World Heritage Site since 1988, it is over 180 million years old! Take in the Gold Coast 

This 66 km stretch of beach is possibly the most favourite location in the state. Surfers Paradise is among the most popular suburbs with an active beachside social scene. It also has a 3km stretch with lifeguards on duty every single day. Also, visit other beaches like Kirra, known for excellent walking paths, and immaculate waters. 

You can check out Cabarita, a small coastal town encircled by a nature reserve. Then there is Tallebudgera, a creek that ends up in the ocean. It is known for its stunning beauty and restful atmosphere.
