8 Best Beaches in Vietnam for Your Next Holiday - A beach holiday like never before!

Vietnam has some of the best beaches in South Asia! With over 2000 miles of incredibly beautiful coastlines, here are some of the best beaches to visit on your next trip.

1

Con Dao

This archipelago of 16 islands on the south coast of Vietnam was once a French prison! These isles have white sandy beaches, crystal blue waters, corals and thriving marine life. Lo Voi Beach is north of Con Dao and located across the central island, Bay Canh. This bay is visited by lovers of marine life every year to free rescued baby turtles into the ocean.

2

Ha Long Bay

Visiting this UNESCO World Heritage Site is a must! If journeying from Hanoi, it will take around 2 hours to get there and back. Ha Long Bay's trademark limestone karsts make a picturesque site, with several other sea sides like Bai Chay, also to visit. If it is an overnight stay, you can go to less crowded beaches like Ban Chan!

3

Phu Quoc

The largest Vietnamese island lies westward towards the Gulf of Thailand near Cambodia and is a tropical rainforest paradise and a protected National Park. The luxuriant jungles surrounding the mountains are home to a range of animals. The coastline surrounding the island is spectacular! Khem Beach is among the finest in the globe! Towards the south lies Sao Beach, surrounded by flowing palm trees and magnificent vistas for you to gawk at!

4

Ho Coc

If you are driving through Vietnam, the new road out of Saigon can be taken to reach Ho Coc Beach. Found on the east shore, near Ba Ria Vung Tau Province, north of Ho Tran Hamlet. The beach is near a bay overseeing dense forests and dunes. It is indeed a glorious location to soak up the sun! Also, Mui Ne is just two hours away and famous for its beaches as well. If looking for a villa in Vietnam, the likes of Anantara Mui Ne Resort are among the places worth checking out!

5

Da Nang

Found on the central coast, Da Nang was once a French colonial port city.
It is also Vietnam's third-biggest city. Lovers of water sports must visit My Khe Beach, near the city centre. The location is famous for surfing, snorkelling and jet skiing. For some quieter times, go to Tien Sa Beach, north of the Peninsula.

6

Nha Trang

Nha Trang Beach can get crowded at peak hours but offers some excellent sights of its bay. Venture out before the morning crowd sets in, to truly appreciate this beach. For less crowded beaches in the area, the nearby islands have some lovely beaches, like Hon Lon and Hon Tre.

7

Doc Let

Just one hour from Nha Trang, the beach at Doc Let has around 11 km of immaculate coastline. The Northern Quarter of the beach is visited by tourists, while the central regions have many pretty locations. Jungle beach is a secluded beachfront encircled by fishing villages in the southern region.

8

Ly Son Island

Ly Son is a cluster of islands near volcanic craters that remains largely undiscovered by tourists. You won't find many beach resorts here either! But, rather some intriguing geological shapes and over 50 temples! Most of the island of Dao Lon is taken up for garlic cultivation and can be smelled miles away. A 15-minute ferry ride to Dao Be Island, also called An Binh, is the place to swim off into the pristine shores and relish the coral reefs, and seaweed fields.
