It's been quiet on the Transformers 4 front ever since it was confirmed that Michael Bay is returning to direct the film. We know that TF4 will be bringing back fan-favorite robots but also introducing new characters (human and mechanical); it will be released in 2014; and the story will be a 'more serious sequel' that will set up a new story arc.
New Avengers/Transformers is an intercompany crossover comic book series published by Marvel Comics and IDW Publishing that involves the pre- New Avengers and the Transformers. It is set in the fictional nation of Latveria, and involves the characters Captain America, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Luke Cage, Wolverine, Falcon and Ms. Marvel from the Avengers, and Prowl, Ratchet, Jazz, Bumblebee and Optimus Prime from the Autobots.
Briefly: Michael Bay has just revealed another vehicle that'll appear in his currently filming Transformers 4 . While some of the previous vehicles, like Bumblebee's Camaro and Optimus Prime's big rig, were instantly recognizable, there's no indication of who this new car is. An Autobot? A Decepticon?
With the Transformers currently between Michael Bay movies, Hasbro's been giving its animated series and video game incarnations a lot of attention of late, with special projects planned to coincide with the franchise's 30th anniversary.
