The Your Story Counseling Center offers individual, couple and family trauma and sexual counseling for a variety of needs.
No one prepared you for how hard it would be. You know you don't want to do it the way your parents did it. But you haven't learned what else to do.
So you keep trying. Go to work or school. Food production. Wash clothes. Wake up the next day and repeat the same tasks.
And somehow you feel like you're falling behind. Someone else in your social media feed has the job you want.
You know it's really not easy. But you still feel bad. You lie in bed thinking about everything you haven't done. You relive the mistakes of the day in your head. I can already feel the anxiety of tomorrow.
You wish your family would understand. But the conversations turn into arguments. Someone keeps telling you that you're doing it wrong.
