Top Caribbean Destinations – Planning a colourful holiday

Since international travel has resumed back to normal, destinations have also started opening up. If you're yet to visit the Caribbean, here are a couple of great destinations to add to your bucket list.

1

Jamaica

Jamaica is home to numerous beautiful things to see and do, equally, and is known as the land of wood, water, and adventure! You will never be bored in Jamaica, with the number of things you can do, so book your flight on a passenger airline such as interCaribbean Airways right away! One of the most unique things to do in Jamaica is to swim with horses, and several resorts give you this opportunity! The best part is that horses actually enjoy swimming, and their powerful legs make them strong swimmers. The blue mountains of Jamaica aren't only majestic to look at, it's the perfect place to go camping and hiking!

2

British Virgin Islands

A whopping 60 islands make up the British Virgin Islands, which brims with nature, white sand beaches and plenty of interesting underwater life. One of the destination's most famous landmarks is the Virgin Gorda Baths, which are ideal for snorkelling and exploring. In order to preserve the beauty, the Baths were declared a national park in 1990. For some sun, sea and sand, head to Cane Garden Bay, a popular stretch of sand. Uniquely shaped like a crescent, this is the best place to socialise, get a tan and listen to fun island music!

3

St Lucia

Brainstorming for your honeymoon destination? Look no further and look up interCaribbean flights to the tropical paradise of St Lucia! This destination offers the best of both worlds; relaxing and adventurous. Two of the famous beaches to visit are Anse Des Sables and Plantation beach! If you are looking for a rush of adrenaline, then ziplining or off-roading are great options.

4

Cayman Islands

A popular destination among the Caribbean islands, this archipelago screams luxury from the get-go. The palm-fringed beaches and turquoise waters are reason enough to head to the Cayman Islands, and Seven Mile Beach is one for the books. Stingray City is a popular activity, which must make it to your to-do list! This is the rare opportunity to get up close and personal with the iconic sting rays, pet them, and even swim with them! The Cayman Islands are made up of Grand Cayman, Little Cayman, and Cayman Brac.

5

U.S. Virgin Islands

Consisting of St Thomas, St Croix and St John, the U.S. Virgin Islands is another tropical paradise for a quick getaway. In fact, island hopping is quite easy here, so you can experience all three of the islands during your vacation. The largest island is St Croix, which attracts mainly honeymooners but offers a look into culture and architecture. In terms of diversity, St Thomas is where you need to go! St Thomas is also perfect for families. For ultimate natural beauty in its purest state, head to St John, the smallest of the islands. Here, over half the island is protected land.
