The area's most iconic attraction is the glass-bottomed boat rides that offer passengers a view of the seabed, the marine life, and pretty coral formations.
Located five kilometres from the historic city of Galle, Unawatuna is a beautiful beach that is ideal for swimming. The crystal-clear waters are alluring as are its other attractions; Rumassala Hill, which is steeped in legend, the Peace Pagoda donated by Japan, and Jungle Beach where you can enjoy relaxing among the lush foliage opening out to the Indian Ocean.
