5 Lively Nightlife Spots in Xi’an, China – Where to have fun during your Xi’an tour

Thinking of having a blast on your next night out in China? Xi'an is where you should be. This beautiful city offers a huge variety of bars, restaurants, and cafes that add to its nocturnal appeal.

1

Park Qin

Located in a busy area, Park Qin is a hotel that boasts a bar and restaurant on site. The restaurant serves delicious pizzas and affordable beer, while the bar downstairs offers a lively atmosphere with live music and a variety of seating options. The decor features life-size terracotta warriors, giving the bar a unique and trendy vibe. The staff is friendly, the cocktails are reasonably priced, and there is also a wide selection of beers available. In addition to drinks, the bar also provides free table snacks and alcohol, which adds to the fun and excitement. The bar also hosts a weekly beer pong tournament for those who want some competition.

2

Vice Versa

If you are seeking a cosy and intimate atmosphere to socialise with friends and family, consider checking out Vice Versa. Although the drinks may be slightly expensive, the bar offers fantastic deals like Mexican Standoff, which, by the way, includes a Corona, a tequila shot, and lime for 30 RMB. The bar also features a stage for live music performances. If you need to get away from all the loud music, though, you can head up to the rooftop area. This bar is smaller than Park Qin and is a great place for a romantic experience. And you'll also find a variety of Xian apartments the likes of lyf Dayanta Xi'an in the area.

Salsa

Salsa is the perfect place to go for a bit of dancing. The club has a spacious dance floor on the first floor and a couple of stages for dance performances. The music played by the DJ includes a mix of Chinese and English songs, so you are likely to recognise some of the tunes. In addition to dancing to the DJ's music, the dancers also perform some amazing choreography. Salsa also hosts themed parties that are a lot of fun but be prepared for a crowded dance floor. Also, to ensure the safety of your belongings, you should make use of the bag check service provided by the club.

3 Carats

3 Carats is a great place to meet up with friends for a chat and then hit the dance floor when the mood strikes. Just keep in mind that there might be times when the venue has live bands or other performances, during which dancing is not allowed. The individual prices are a little over the top, so buy drinks for the whole group to bring the cost down. But even if you visit on your own, you are sure to have a great time here.

5

East Gate Barbeque

If you are looking for something unique and unconventional, you should try East Gate Barbeque, a mall that offers barbeque dining in an alfresco setting. To visit and dine, you'll need to get a rechargeable card at the main stand, which will let you choose from a variety of food stalls offering everything from grilled meat to duck-wrapped pancakes to fried grasshoppers. The food is absolutely divine, and you can purchase a single beer or a large container that would fill up about eight glasses. This spot is great for dinner, and it's also a great place to hang out with friends for the entire evening. East Gate Barbeque is a favourite among locals, so if you are not from Xi'an, you'll belong to the small number of foreigners visiting the mall.
