Completed back in 1921, the colonial era in Sri Lanka, both locals and foreigners tend to make quite a big fuss over the Nine Arch Bridge. Ever wonder why? One thing you can find out is that the entire bridge is made of bricks, concrete, and rock without a single piece of metal. It is definitely an engineering marvel of the past! The bridge is 91 metres long and runs across mist-covered, neat rows of tea. You'll find that trains run on the bridge about 5 times a day, the exact times though are difficult to say with the ever-changing train schedules. You can walk on the bridge when it is safe and click as many pictures as you'd like for your Instagram feed.
