BEIJING - Peking duck is no longer a dish in China, it's a craze. Rubber ducks have been appearing on lakes, some used to commemorate the outlawed democracy movement, some to promote businesses and others just set out for fun.

Rubber Duck is any of several giant floating sculptures designed by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman. These were built in various sizes, including one created in 2007 that is the largest rubber duck in the world, measuring 26×20×32 metres (85×66×105 ft) and weighing over 600 kg (1,300 lb).

Beijing this week will get its own official version of a giant yellow inflatable duck installation by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman, after a similar piece made waves earlier this year in Hong Kong and inspired copycats across China.
