Amazing Beaches to Discover in Phuket – The best shorelines of your life await

There is nothing better in life than being able to simply recline under a tree, with a cold beer in a land far from all you know and tell yourself you finally made it to the beach in Phuket. This is likely to be a highlight of anyone's life and well worth exploring to make the most of!

1

Freedom Beach

Freedom Beach is renowned as one of Phuket's most stunning shorelines due to its powdery white sand and azure waters. Despite its proximity to the busy Patong beach, this small slice of heaven is surprisingly tranquil. The explanation is obvious: during peak season, the only way to get there is by boat, or up an extremely steep slope again from the top of the hill but just keep in mind that spending time on it will be rewarded.
However, there are now so many Phuket luxury hotels such as the Anantara Layan Phuket Resort so you can enjoy the best of worldly luxuries and the wonders feeling of sand between your toes.

2

Patong Beach

Patong is Phuket's most popular beach and staying there is a matter of personal preference. It's not truly Thailand anymore, but there are plenty of restaurants, shops, marketplaces, bars, and go-go clubs in this large town. While the beach's busiest section is in the middle, the northernmost section is peaceful and gorgeous.
There are thousands of hotels to select from, but just a handful that can be considered luxurious, and only three of those are located directly on the beach. Patong is where you want to be if you're in town for the nightlife!

3

Karon Beach

Karon Beach is one of Phuket's longest and most well-liked beaches. The beach is so large that even during peak season, you won't feel squished on this beautiful expanse of white sand and pure blue ocean. Although there are several excellent hotels just across the main beach road, only Centara Grand Beach Resort provides direct access to the sand. There are plenty of places to eat, stores of various sizes, a bazaar and even temples to explore!

4

Beach at Nai Harn

Nai Harn is a beautiful, well-known beach that is flanked by verdant hills and a few little islets. During peak season, the ocean is a brilliant blue and the sand is very soft (November to April). It's a stark contrast to the western coast's popular tourist destinations like Patong and Karon.
A park protects the bay from development, but just beyond the trees lies a veritable feast of Thai eateries and street eats. Even though there are a few hotels in Nai Harn, the town has managed to keep its authentic flavour. This beach is located in a protected bay where sailing and fishing vessels can safely drop anchor.

5

Kata Noi Beach

If you want to be close to Kata but away from the tourist crowds, Kata Noi Beach is a great bay. During the peak season, the water at this gorgeous beach was a brilliant blue, and the area was widely considered to be among the most scenic on the planet. To its credit, its "Out of the way" location ensured that it remained pretty quiet; in fact, unless you were specifically looking for it, you probably would have never noticed it.
