5 Of the Best Beaches in Quy Nhon – For that perfect coastal getaway

Boasting a truly stunning shoreline and grand boulevards, Quy Nhon is a prosperous coastal city nestled in central Vietnam! Here is a definitive guide to all the best beaches in Quy Nhon to check out during your next visit!

1

Bai Xep Beach

An incredible golden bay bordered with majestic rocks at either end, Bai Xep Beach is located just 13 kilometres south of Quy Nhon town and is reached via a winding coastal road. The beach borders a quaint little fishing village, where the locals are friendly and eager to offer help. Here the water is a beautiful clear blue, while the crescent-shaped bay offers beachgoers a protected cove to swim safely in. Bai Xep Beach to date holds onto an authentic feel with traditional Vietnamese basket boats littering the shores. Additional plus points include lesser crowds and some fantastic family-run restaurants to check out! Bai Xep Beach can also be reached easily from many a Quy Nhon hotel including those such as Anantara Quy Nhon Villas as well.

2

Quy Hoa Beach

A beautiful beach sheltered by towering trees, the Quy Hoa Beach stretches lazily over a kilometre, and is almost always empty over the weekdays, getting moderately busy on the weekends. If you are keen on enjoying a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, without having to travel too far from the cityscape, Quy Hoa Beach is your best bet. While the beach is worth the visit in itself, there are plenty of things to do and see here as well. Visitors can take in lovely concept shops, restaurants and café along with historic and religious attractions as well.

3

Queen Beach

Also known as Bai Trung, Queen Beach pays tribute and homage to Queen Nam Phuong - the last Vietnamese Emperor's wife. While this beach is not ideal for swimming, it remains a great spot to simply sit back and relax, while enjoying some stunning coastal views. Alternatively, one can also enjoy a spot of fishing here as well. Access to Queen's Beach is via Ghenh Rang landscape Park. One can also access it via the north end of Quy Hoa Beach.

4

Eo Gio

Ideal for those looking for something other than endless white sandy beaches, Eo Gio is situated 20 kilometres just northeast of Quy Nhon city – and offers visitors a dramatic rock coastline littered with plenty of rolling hills and caves to explore to your heart's content. If you are a fan of seafood, you will be happy to know that there are plenty of seafood restaurants to check out where you can feast on the catch of the day prepared to perfection!
