Victoria Falls National Park

You will find no better feeling than having a leisurely stroll along the footpaths of the national parks on either side of the waterfall. The falls will give you an opportunity to get up close to the thundering falls. This experience will certainly remain an evergreen memory. Located on the Zimbabwe side, Victoria Falls National Park has a lush rainforest reserve offering incredible views of Victoria Falls. Take a leisurely stroll along the park's footpath which runs through the rainforest and eye-catching viewpoints. If you are staying at one of the many Victoria Falls hotels the likes of Avani Victoria Falls Resort, it is a 9-minute drive to the park. Crossing the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe via the Victoria Falls Bridge is not difficult but do not forget your passports.

Knife Edge Bridge

How about walking along Knife Edge Bridge on the Zambian side? You could spot the Eastern Cataract from Zambia which is known as the second deepest fall (101 metres deep) Don't get upset thinking that you will not have many exciting views to admire on this side. You will get the opportunity to get close to cascades of water. Feel the water spray hitting your face as you walk along the edge of Victoria Falls. You will discover this beautiful island right on the edge of Victoria Falls! What better way to spend a vacation than spending some time in an island? The island received its name from 19th-century European explorer David Livingstone.
