Krabi Mangrove Forest Boardwalk

A popular trail for road biking, birding and hiking, this 1.3 km out-and-back trail located near Mueang Krabi, is generally considered to be an easy route. Taking an average of 16 minutes to complete, one will get the chance to enjoy some quiet solitude during mid-day. Dogs are welcome, but not off-leash. The best time to visit this trail is anywhere between November to late February. Tub Kaek -Khlong Muang Cycle Route

Do note that this 9 km route is considered to be moderately challenging and takes approximately 2 hours to complete. This route too is popular for road biking and birding opportunities. The route is not crowded and by mid-afternoon becomes relatively quiet, offering adventurous plenty of solitude and quiet time.

Tab Krak Hang Nak

A mountain park brimming with a rich and diverse collection of flora and fauna in addition to some truly spectacular vistas of the expansive landscape around, Hang Kak definitely needs exploring. The park is renowned for its winding hiking trail, which is easy to take on. Do keep in mind that there are seven steep ascents to cut through. The park is open to the public from 8 am to 3 pm daily. To reach the base, you can either rent a motorbike or hire a taxi.

Ant Trek Koh Phi Phi

If you are an experienced hiker in a great state of fitness, the Ant Tek Koh Phi Phi trail will prove rewarding. This fascinating trail will see you through some quaint villages and lush mangroves, with a few moderately steep parts. When you get to the end, your reward will consist of a secret beach of sorts called Nui Bay, which is renowned for its beauty and the solitude it offers. The hiking distance and duration include eight kilometres and five hours respectively. Consider leaving some time to enjoy a refreshing dip in cool gin-clear water and snap some beautiful pictures. Afterwards, you can make your way back in the glow of lamps that light the way!
