This largely stems from how difficult it is to reach Haad Yuan. The journey to Haad Yuan can be made in either 2 hours on foot via the trail or ten minutes via speedboat. However, you slice it, getting there is a worthwhile endeavour, especially if you are staying at a Koh Phangan resort such as the Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villas where you can enjoy the best of the best of the beach as well as the luxury amenities at your disposal.

The Shores of Malibu

Malibu Beach, which can be found in Chalok Lam, is one of the most well-known beaches on the island. Not only do the bright white sands and clear blue water draw the eye, but so do other, less expected features, such as the beachfront dotted with traditional huts and cottages. Additionally, there are bright green, spherical trees sprouting in the sands, which you won't find elsewhere.
As a popular starting and ending point for snorkelling, diving, and sightseeing tours, Malibu Beach is always bustling with vessels of all shapes and sizes. The many palm trees that flank the shoreline also contribute to Malibu Beach's appeal.
