The Best Places in Dubai to Visit with Your Family in 2022 for a Vacation like No Other! - Dubai at its Finest!

The glitz and the glamour of Dubai are quite unlike any other destination in the world! A city of many cultural and architectural wonders, Dubai is the perfect family destination to keep everyone entertained.

1

Palm Jumeirah

It is one of the boldest development projects in the world and a famous spot for travellers while in Dubai! This man-made archipelago extends out toward the Arabian Gulf and is designed in the shape of a palm tree, with a 3-mile-long body. The Palm has many attractions including water parks, wildlife, theme parks, incredible restaurants, and so much more.

2

The Burj Khalifa

At 829.8 metres, Burj Khalifa is the largest building in the world! And it is undoubtedly the city's most iconic spot to visit. A visit to the observation deck on the 124th floor is a must for all visitors, particularly in the evening. The design was conceived by Adrian Smith, an architect based in Chicago, for $4 billion. Within the Burj Khalifa are the highest mosque and swimming pool in the world, while the uppermost spectator platform is on the 124th level. Inside, there are offices, apartment complexes, convention centres and various entertainment options. While there, don't forget to visit the nearby dancing fountain, which remarkably syncs water, music and light!

3

The Dubai Museum

Housed in the Al-Fahidi Fort and built out of coral blocks back in 1787, Dubai Museum is the oldest building in the city. There are many artefacts, some dating back to 4000 years and dioramas depicting life in the Sultanate. Its many galleries recreate historical structures, like ancient Arab houses, souqs, mosques, and date farms. While there, don't forget to venture towards the Al Fahidi neighbourhood and the Arabian Tea House for some delicious treats!

4

Ibn Battuta Mall

This mall happens to be the world's biggest themed shopping centre, with six courts inspired by countries visited by Berber traveller, Ibn Battuta. Some of the top things to do in Ibn Battuta Mall include a visit to the Andalusia Court, Egyptian Court, China Court, Indian Court, Persia Court, and Tunisia Court! All are unique and feature a range of attractions and delicious restaurants. For example, the India Court has an operating replica of an elephant clock! You can also find accommodation; the likes of Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Dubai are among the top places nearby.

5

Dubai Creek

The creek splits the city into two parts, Deira to the north and Bur Dubai to the south. You can travel across the creek in an abra, which is a traditional wooden ferry. Discover the traditional Deira markets, also known as souks and the little corner shops brimming with fragrant spices, treats and frankincense.

6

Underwater Zoo and aquarium

Located in the Dubai Mall, it is one of the best places to visit with kids. There are over 140 species living within this Zoo, plus different ecological habitats have been recreated, like rainforests, a rock-filled shore and even a beach! At the underwater aquarium, a 48-metre-tunnel will take you through a magical-looking underwater world filled with a myriad of creatures. Other attractions include glass bottom boat tours and shark diving.
