This lengthy and pretty much empty beach is located within Sirinat National Park, which is near Phuket International Airport. From the beach, you can spot many planes landing and taking off, up close and personal! Some planes will descend very low, so do be cautious of this when at the beach. Apart from the excitement of the planes, the water here is crystal clear, with little to no crowds for an immersive experience altogether.
Lying on the west coast of Patong, Freedom Beach is among the most pristine beaches you will encounter on the island. This spot of coastline takes us back to a time before Thailand became a major tourist hub! Snorkelers should carry their gear as well, as there are no rentals around. Found between the captivating Windmill Viewpoint and Promthep Cape, the beach at Ya Nui has some unique rock formations surrounding the turquoise sea. Ya Nui is not a big beach, which makes it all the more quaint and charming. A wide scope of activities including snorkelling and kayaking awaits those who visit the beach. You can kayak to the beaches nearby such as Nai Harn beach from here. If you are lucky, you may witness an incredible sunset on the sea!
