Wat Khao Rang is a temple found on the hillsides of Khao Rang and is a major attraction for the statue of the golden Buddha in a seated position. The Buddha image is believed to be the island's first! The temple structure is ornate and colourful, typical of Thai temple designs.

It's a lesser-known viewpoint on the island, and the area is called the 'black rock' viewpoint due to a slab of granite that functions as a natural terrace, offering travellers a place of relaxation to admire the island's beauty.
The location of the beach is serene, dreamy and rarely visited, possibly due to its location, as the journey can get strenuous. Banana Beach is between two beaches, Bang Tao and Nai Thon, and is also called 'Deserted Beach'. Once on the trail, look out for a wooden signpost that will direct you toward the beach.
