Types of Popular Apartments – The home of your future awaits

As the housing market has grown, so too has the variety of apartment types, each with its own set of advantages and drawbacks that make it ideal for a particular set of renters. Have a look below to see where you see yourself settling down in the future!

1

A studio apartment

The term "studio" is used to describe one-room flats. This idea, known as "Bachelor" or "Efficiency" in the UK, was developed for the benefit of college students and other single individuals. The most interesting thing about this property is that the spaces inside the flat have no wall but still include full essential functions such as a bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom area which is contained in a different corner.
Studio apartments are commonly priced in the intermediate category, ideal for the financial capability of many people. While there is a range of apartments in Colombo Sri Lanka such as those held by John Keells Properties, the studio apartment approach is the most popular option for many people!

Office Tel apartments

Office Tel is a form of multi-purpose flat similar to a home, hotel & office. When compared to traditional office spaces, officiate apartments are more flexible and can be used as living quarters with all the conveniences of home. Business travellers and vacationers alike can stay the night at Office Tel and make use of the complex's many amenities, including a swimming pool, fitness centre, restaurant, amusement park, and retail space.
Each office apartment at an Office Tel is between 25 and 50 square metres, making it an ideal location for small firms or teams of start-ups, particularly those in the tech sector, which values productivity, privacy, and serenity. Each office Tel unit is often priced at a discount to the market rate for similar studio or one-bedroom units.

Shophouse

This unusual style of apartment is a mix of home design and business shops, generally known as buildings located in commercial apartments. This kind has a rich history and is widely used around the world and has progressively become a general pattern in Vietnam.
The Shophouse apartments are positioned on the ground level of commercial townhouse buildings, surrounded by a large residential neighbourhood and a handy location for business. Shophouses normally feature two different floors, ensuring business operations and separate living demands. Design is done all at once and can't be changed once it's started.

4

Penthouses

In 2010, a surge of rooftop apartment construction began in Vietnam, and typically only large apartment complexes and high-end buildings feature penthouse layouts. They are not technically penthouses, despite being on the uppermost floor of the building. Unless otherwise specified, penthouse flats are designed to maximise the feeling of openness and connectivity between rooms. The penthouse apartment has a huge veranda and balcony, both of which provide expansive views of the surrounding landscape.

How about a Duplex

A duplex apartment is a sort of penthouse architecture between at least two adjoining floors in the same structure. Duplex apartments, in contrast to penthouses, need not be on the top floor of the building; instead, they can be positioned anywhere on the same floor as standard flats. Similar to a penthouse, duplex flats have no outdoor area.

The structure of this style is also typically luxurious and the huge area is excellent for families with numerous members. The steps inside the apartment have a glass outside wall that expands the viewing area.
