Visiting the ruins of the Champa is one of the best things to do in Quy Nhon. They were indigenous seafaring people who inhabited the coastal regions of Vietnam. The towers at Thap Doi are called 'two towers' and are one of the most accessible of all the Cham citadels. Most of these were constructed during the 12-13th centuries. It is formed with red bricks and sits proudly overlooking the coconut palms and banana trees.
Banh It is a fortress with four restored towers located on the summit at the edge of a cliff with amazing sights overlooking the countryside. The Gate Tower, the Fire Tower, and the Sanctuary Tower all stand at a height of 29.6 metres, while the Sanctuary Tower is adorned with five pilasters in double grooves with elaborate designs on its three-layered canopy.
