5 Best Instagram Spots in Quy Nhon - Capture some remarkable moments in Quy Nhon

The coastal city of Quy Nhon in Central Vietnam goes somewhat unnoticed by tourists. But it is a place teeming with some amazing locations to inundate your Instagram feed with spectacular pictures!

1

Bai Xep

Bai Xep is a small fishing village located 12 kilometres from Central Quy Nhon. It first started with two hostels in the village overlooking the beach, but nowadays other accommodations are available.
The authentic surroundings are a perfect opportunity to capture the serene and simple lifestyle of a Vietnamese fishing community. There are plenty of places to relax on the beach. Also, take a boat ride to one of the nearby islands for more amazing locations.

2

Quy Hoa Beach

Located on the seaside road, south of Quy Nhon is Quy Hoa Beach. Encounter a vast stretch of pristine coastline bordered by the wilderness for some exciting Instagram-worthy shots. The beach is rather secluded during weekdays, to allow you to explore the surroundings to your heart's content. You can also find plenty of cute shops, eateries, and houses beneath the shade near the beach. On the northern end is a park, which includes pavement with the busts of famous personalities!

3

Eo Gio

Eo Gio is 20 km northeast of central Quy Nhon. The beach is rugged, to say the least, and provides dramatic captures of rocky boulders all along its coastline. The jagged coastline has multiple cliffs and caverns that can be explored. Expect the terrain to be rough, hilly, and remote.

4

The dunes at Phuong Mai

The dunes of Phuong Mai are massive and near Nhon Ly Beach and just the place to capture some beautiful photos of the surrounding landscape. However, while there, don't forget to try your hand at sandboarding across the dunes! You can also head to the nearby fishing village of Hải Nam for another authentic fishing village experience. Plus, there is a pretty beach and an island to explore nearby as well. The likes of Avani Quy Nhon Resort can be a sound option to base your stay on as you explore the rest of Quy Nhon.

5

The ruins of the Champa Kingdom

Visiting the ruins of the Champa is one of the best things to do in Quy Nhon. They were indigenous seafaring people who inhabited the coastal regions of Vietnam. The Kingdom survived from the 7th to the 15th CE. The impressive structures overlooking the dense forests will make for some memorable photo captures of Vietnam's historic past! The towers at Thap Doi are called 'two towers' and are one of the most accessible of all the Cham citadels. Most of these were constructed during the 12-13th centuries. It is formed with red bricks and sits proudly overlooking the coconut palms and banana trees.

Banh It is a fortress with four restored towers located on the summit at the edge of a cliff with amazing sights overlooking the countryside. The Gate Tower, the Fire Tower, and the Sanctuary Tower all stand at a height of 29.6 metres, while the Sanctuary Tower is adorned with five pilasters in double grooves with elaborate designs on its three-layered canopy.
