If you head to Trinidad, you need to also include the Church and Monastery of Saint Francis, Casa de Aldeman Ortiz, and the Museum of Colonial Architecture for a well-rounded and educational visit. For those who are enthusiastic about how olden homes looked and their architecture, a visit to Palacio Brunet is encouraged. This home was built way back in 1812 and its original marble floors and frescoes remain the same as they used to be. Valle de los Ingenios is located to the East of Trinidad and is a World-heritage listed location. Showcasing a plethora of relics hailing from the 19th century, it's said to be one of the best things to see in Trinidad.
