They are now accepting film entries for the 2016 editions of A Design Film Festival (DFF) and FoodCine.ma. Whether you’re a filmmaker or from the film community, we like to receive your submissions and nominations of films for DFF, focused on design and its subcultures, and FoodCine.ma, a festival that looks at the culture of food.
Conceived in 2010 by Anonymous as a film festival dedicated to design, A Design Film Festival (DFF) launched in Singapore and has since travelled to over 10 cities globally including Bangkok, Taipei, Berlin and Portland, with over 100,000 attendees.
The festival is a curated collection of films on design and its subcultures, including architecture, fashion design, product design, urban design, photography, contemporary art, sign-painting, craft and more.

The seven so-called Dreigelenkbogenhallen (three-joint arcade halls), commissioned by the Post Office and built in 1913, were elaborately modernised with great attention paid to their historical significance and remodelled into a large, bright exhibition building in 2005. Originally a parcel distribution centre, they are located directly opposite the Cologne-Deutz railway station and the trade fair grounds. It runs changing exhibits of international interior design brands.
