Best Adventure Sites in Bangkok – Get your thrill on in Bangkok!

Bangkok is not just temples and shopping; the city is quite a rush with the insane sights and sounds one gets to see every day. But those who want to experience a thrill now can take the chance to visit some of these spots in and around Bangkok!

1

Flight of the Gibbon

If you ever wondered what it is like to fly, well then zip lines are as close as you can get. Located 1.5 hours from Bangkok, Flight of the Gibbon should not be missed! They are a whole lot of fun, taking you across multi-tiered terraces and bridges through beautiful forests. You can choose to join a multi-day tour where you connect zip lining with other activities such as white-water rafting, kayaking, Segway tour or rock climbing. If not, you can just spend a few hours zipping from one treetop to the other while relishing the rich verdant forests of Thailand.

2

Sathorn Unique Tower

The mysterious and spooky-looking tower is an unfinished building of over 50 storeys! It remains abandoned since the economic crisis of 1997 and has a resemblance to the nearby State Tower skyscraper. Various disturbing incidents have unfolded here and Sathorn Unique draws quite a few adventurers wanting to investigate the dilapidated construction. Be mindful and use your discretion if you plan on visiting the building.

3

Bungee Jumping

Overcome your fears and plummet into one of Thailand's famous bungee jumps. Pattaya Bungee Jump; the tallest jump in Pattaya is less than 2 hours away from Bangkok. An excellent team of bungee jump experts will guide you all the way. Afterwards, relax at the on-site bar, and watch your jumping skills unfold on the big screen! The likes of Avani Atrium Bangkok are some of the best spots around town if you are looking for a place to stay around here.

4

SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World

Sealife Bangkok is one of the biggest underground aquariums in Asia. Witness over 3000 varieties of aquatic animals as you walk through the glass tunnel that divides you and marine life. One of the highlights is the rare opportunity to walk with the sharks as you dive into a massive tank where sharks and other marine animals live. It is quite an experience and definitely not for the faint-hearted!

5

Flow House Bangkok

One can learn how to surf at Flow House on the FlowRider, which is a man-made wave slide that gives you the unique experience of what it is like to ride the surf. The structure is constructed to include pressures, tugs and pulls to simulate the experience of riding a wave. Other than the excitement, of course, it is a great way to cool off when the city temperature starts to soar! There is a pool, loungers, and kids' pool plus a café serving all kinds of yummy food, although dining in Bangkok is never a worry with all kinds of amazing options around.
