The best way to see breathtaking Seychelles – An Island hopping venture

A stunning archipelago made up of 115 islands, Seychelles is located just off East Africa. Home to white sandy beaches and picture-perfect landscapes, you're in for a memorable time.

1

Mahe

As the largest island in Seychelles, Mahe has a lot to offer. Home to the airport and most of the country's population, it's a great location to either start or ends your holiday. Boasting over 75 jaw-dropping beaches, you can go beach hopping to your heart's content! Apart from spending most of your time at the beach, you can also try your hand at activities such as rock climbing, hiking and exploring the island to discover all about it!

2

Praslin

For those staying at Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas, there's good news! The number of things to do in Praslin is countless! Praslin falls as the close second, right after Mahe, in terms of popularity. For eye-catching topaz waters and white sands, Praslin is where you need to go! Even better, Praslin is home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve which spreads across 45 acres. If you do visit Praslin, visiting this renowned attraction is a must to get a glimpse of the very rare Coco de Mer trees.

3

La Digue

Said to boast one of the most photographed beaches in the world, La Digue is the third largest island in Seychelles. While Anse Source d'Argent is one of the main reasons to visit La Digue, there's a lot more this sleepy island has to offer, after you've got a good old glimpse of it! For instance, the Veuve Nature Reserve is an attraction not to be missed. Nevertheless, La Digue is ideal for holiday goers who want to simply just relax, enjoy the blue waters and take in the beauty of the surroundings as opposed to adventuring all day.

4

Felicite Island

Located just north of La Digue, this island is ideal for day trips. A quick 20-minute crossing, Felicite Island is a lot of green! This island makes for an exotic backdrop, especially considering the countless palms that dot the island. You can also opt to dive here, as the waters are ideal for exploring the underwaters. The term 'Felicite' translates to 'Bliss', which is more than a great excuse to see if this is true for yourself!

5

Cousin Island

A true treat for the eyes, Cousin Island is located 2 kilometres to the west of Praslin. Home to many exotic birds, the island is protected under Seychelles law as a special reserve. The long sandy beaches are excuse enough to visit this island! However, there are no overnight accommodation options available. Nevertheless, you have the opportunity to hang around for a day, spot a couple of endemic birds or have a barbecue! You can get your hotel to organise a visit for you if you're planning to visit from Praslin.
