Monday November 11th 2013 marked an exciting milestone for the learning community at the Omololu International School. Through a generous grant from Windsong International Foundation, each child has been provided with a Learnpad and every classroom equipped with a Promethean Board. Teachers have all been provided with personal laptops to facilitate the advanced preparation of lessons.

Yardley Wood Community Primary school are very excited to blog about our new tablet computers. We decided to invest in Learnpads because they are basically built for education with only learners in mind. There are a family of Learnpads. The Quarto and the Octavo.

Mixed primary school for ages 3 to 11. Provides resources and information on the school, the yeargroups and other useful information.

Seventh grade students received their LearnPads this week. The Android devices are being used across the curriculum in a pilot project to enhance learning.

Each of MISD's 1,600-plus sixth-grade students have received a LearnPad, an Android-based educational tablet that allows teachers to control and customize all content, and all sixth-grade teachers received an Apple iPad equipped with the Insight360 presentation and assessment application, as phase one of the district's multi-year individual technology upgrade plan.
