As a tourist who is visiting Abu Dhabi, you need to have an app called the ALHOSN App downloaded, which shows an individual's vaccination status. This app contains a 'green pass', reflecting not only your vaccination status but also the results of your PCR tests. Within Yas Island, you'll be asked to show your Green Pass when entering theme parks, tourist locations and attractions, so make sure you have it ready and updated. Nevertheless, you'll still have to follow any COVID-19 guidelines put forward at the time.
There are several different means to get to Yas Island, either by car, taxi, boat, bus, or the Yas Express shuttle service. If you're staying at Anantara Eastern Mangroves Abu Dhabi Hotel, you will be just under 30 minutes away from Yas Island, so you can book a taxi or go by bus. However, if you're coming all the way from the airport, it is best to opt for a car or taxi in case you have luggage. Another option would be to opt for the Abu Dhabi Link Service, which is more convenient. All you need to do is request a minibus or shuttle, and they'll pick you up and drop you off at your desired locations. Do keep in mind that travelling by taxi is slightly more expensive but is also convenient.

There is also a Yas Mall, where you can shop till you drop, and browse through the many stores available. For the kids, there's also an indoor playground called 'KidsZania', where you can catch your breath while the kids are occupied. For the lovers of motorsports, Ferrari World will not disappoint.
