Did you know that 1 in 5 kids live in households that struggle to put food on the table? That's 16 million kids. Enough to fill 845 basketball arenas, and that's not worldwide, that's right here in the states. In one of the wealthiest countries on earth, there are more children on free or reduced lunches in school than ever before.
I meant to get this up earlier today, but I have my girls (the babies!) this week being a faux mommy, and it leaves little time to handle my personal life, ha! I've said this before, but one of the greatest things about this blog is that I am able to have a voice, and am able to bring awareness to important issues!

Restaurant chains have proved themselves to be eager to continue their support for Share Our Strength and the charity's Dine Out for No Kid Hungry campaign, and during the month of September many brands are reporting progress toward record fundraising goals.
