Khao Lak has a long stretch of beautiful, awesome beaches along the Andaman Sea. These beaches are backed by forested mountains and are dotted with resorts and other tourist facilities. This place is also known for its lush tropical rainforests, enchanting hills, and clean national parks.
A couple of kilometres to the north of Bang La On is Bang Niang. A shabby outdoor market is held in the town's centre, which is otherwise devoid of visual appeal.
