Dubai, the most popular and modern emirate located in the United Arab Emirates is loved by many. There's so much to do in Dubai, that it can get a little overwhelming. Here are some tips for a stress-free vacation to Dubai.

Make a checklist of documents

Depending on where your port of origin is, the documents required to travel to UAE may differ. However, getting these documents in order before you make itinerary plans will make travel so much more enjoyable. The very first document you're likely going to need is a visa, and visa requirements will depend on your nationality/ passport. The next document is your passport, which needs to be valid for at least 6 months from the date of departure. Credit cards, health insurance (covering COVID-19), return ticket and in certain instances, a negative PCR test result. After you have these documents ready, you can also print out a booking confirmation from a Palm Jumeirah hotel, the likes of Avani Palm View Dubai.

The best time to visit Dubai

Dubai, located in the Middle East, can get quite warm during the summer months, which is in between May to September. The best time to visit would be between November to March when the weather isn't too bad and the evenings can even get a little chilly! Depending on the time you visit, the clothing you take should be suitable.

Social Etiquette in Dubai

Social etiquette in Dubai tends to be taken seriously and can be quite different from what you're used to. As a foreigner in Dubai, you need to take special care in paying extra attention to social values. You must take your footwear off whenever you enter a place of worship, or a local house, don't take photographs of residents and try your best to wear loose-fitting clothes over tightly fitted ones. Nevertheless, as you're a foreigner, you don't have to worry too much as the locals tend to be quite forgiving.

Alcohol in Dubai

The minimum age limit for drinks is 21, however, a few bars may not allow people who are below 25 years. To buy liquor in Dubai, you require a license and alcohol can be quite expensive. However, your hotel, bars and restaurants have a plethora of choices to choose from! The best place to buy alcohol would be from the airport, as everything is duty-free, nevertheless, there is a limit to any purchase.
