5 Hidden Attractions in Quy Nhon – Must-visit destinations

A pristine location filled with beautiful beaches, lush greenery and green as ever mountains, Quy Nhon is located in the very centre of Vietnam. Here are a few attractions you have to visit!

1

Ky Co Beach

For a beautiful location, you're unlikely to forget, Ky Co beach is definitely the ideal spot. Roughly two kilometres away from the city, you can get to Ky Co beach either by a fishing boat or speedboat. With its stunning landscape consisting of cliffs, clear blue waters and golden sands, Ky Co beach is perfect for those who enjoy some relaxing beach time. A quick dip in the cool water and laying down on the soft sand with the warm sun glowing around you sounds pretty amazing!

2

Stone Egg Beach

If you're someone that cannot get enough of beaches, then Hoang Hau Beach, also known as Stone Egg Beach is definitely a must-visit! It is said that the wife of the last king, Queen Nam Phuong used this beach as her resting spot from the many royal duties she had, and when you visit, you'll understand why! The unique element of this beach is that instead of sand, there are several hundreds of smooth egg-shaped rocks, hence the name! Although swimming is not possible here, you can take some time to see the stunning sunrise and capture some amazing photographs! Although this beach doesn't always make it to the all-time things to do in Quy Nhon list, it'll be a refreshing change!

3

The Windy Pass

Also known as Eo Gio, this attraction is not necessarily hidden but it's definitely an attractive spot to visit. With a plethora of rough cliffs, winds, and stunning blue waters breaking against huge rocks and caves, there's so much to this attraction. You can make this visit adventurous by bathing on the beach and exploring the mysterious caves in the area. However, do keep in mind that bathing here is quite the challenge as the waters are surrounded by rocks and pebbles, so if you like a challenge, then go for it! The best part about Eo Gio is that it is not too far from many well-known properties such as Avani Quy Nhon Resort. If you're a sunrise person, Eo Gio is also the best place to see the sunrise in Vietnam!

4

Thap Doi Tower

To discover the history and architecture of Vietnam, a stop at Thap Doi tower is ideal. These impressive structures were built in the 11th century. In fact, Quy Nhon is known to have the most number of Champaera ruins in the country. These ruins are known to have very similar features to Angkor Wat in Cambodia.

5

Phuong Mai Peninsula

In this secluded area, all you'll see is a vast expanse of golden sand! This is beside Nhon Trach beach, and the fascinating dunes changing shape as the wind changes is one to witness. The beautiful view of the sunrise and sunset is also one to admire!
