Amazing things to do in Koh Lanta – There is no time like the present for an adventure

It's possible that Koh Lanta is the ideal location for a beach holiday that combines both relaxation and action. Known for its laid-back ambience and lovely beaches, this Thai island also has a slew of exciting activities to keep you occupied during your exploration of this region.

1

All you need to know about Koh Lanta

Krabi, Thailand's most popular tourist destination, is roughly 800 kilometres away from Koh Lanta Island. Two islands: Lanta Yai and Lanta Noi, are both parts of the Mu Ko Lanta National Park and are only separated by a 1-kilometre-wide saltwater shipping lane, which has been in place since 1990. Koh Lanta Yai, the major island, is where you'll discover the many beautiful beaches, numerous attractions, and the best lodgings. While Koh Lanta Noi is desolate and undeveloped for tourism, Koh Lanta Nok is a popular diving and snorkelling destination.
If you are spending your visit at any of the resorts in Krabi, be sure to check out accommodations such as Avani+ Koh Lanta Krabi Resort among many other excellent places to stay.

Beach of Klong Nin

You can't miss Klong Nin Beach on Koh Lanta, one of the island's top attractions. There are a plethora of comfortable lodgings and relaxing spots to be found along this lovely stretch of sand. The laid-back vibe is very appealing. Evenings at Klong Nin, with its smattering of vibrant beach bars and restaurants, are particularly lovely. The beach pearl of Koh Lanta is an excellent starting point from which to explore the island's attractions.

Ban Saladan

Ban Saladan, a little village in the northern part of the island of Koh Lanta, is also worth a visit. There is no need to take a bus or taxi to get here. Nothing is lacking in this quaint fishing town. Several stores, bakeries, ATMs, and a hospital are all nearby. However, there are also several shopping and strolling options.

The Bamboo Beach

The gorgeous Bamboo Beach on Koh Lanta is one of the island's most popular attractions and a real insider's tip. At this beach, you'll find yourself in the midst of a scene straight out of a fairy tale. This natural wonder, with its enormous palm trees and awe-inspiring marine colours, is still a secret that few people know about. The grassy meadow beyond the beach, where cows graze like they are in the mountains, is very lovely and almost tacky. The little bamboo hut where you can get cool drinks and snacks is also a great place to hang out.

Take a scooter tour on Koh Lanta

One of the most popular activities on Koh Lanta is to ride a scooter around the island and visit all of the island's stunning beaches and attractions. The island's well-developed transportation system and low volume of traffic provide for a pleasurable driving experience. Almost all lodgings and small tourism companies along the major road provide scooter rental. On Koh Lanta, a one-day rental of a scooter now costs roughly 250 baht.
