Wewurukannala Temple is an ancient Buddhist temple revered by Buddhists. The main feature is the enormous seated statue of Lord Buddha at 160 feet in height. The first one contains statues of Lord Buddha and the life of Prince Siddhartha before he attained Buddhahood in mural form.
