Although the beaches in and around Pasikudah receive a lot of love, the array of watersports doesn't usually catch much attention! Batticaloa Dutch Fort

Originally built in 1628 by the Portuguese, the fort is on a small island close to the lagoon. Although the fort isn't as formidable as it used to be these days, it's still a nice place to visit and learn all about Sri Lanka's history and its significance of the fort.
